A story of Po Soon, a dog that was abandoned by her owner, is warming up many people's hearts.

The Kyungbuk Police Station introduced Po Soon's story on their Facebook recently, hoping to encourage more people to adopt abandoned dogs.

According to the Facebook post, a small dog was found near the police station last summer. This browned haired dog with sparkly eyes seemed to have lost her owner and ended up by the station. The officers tried their best to try to find her owner but failed, so they decided to adopt the dog and named her Po Soon.

As a part of the new family, Po Soon learned to guard the station and to receive warmth from humans.

Po Soon recently became a mom and gave birth to adorable puppies, making the police officers happy.

The post ended with a reminder that reads, "Even now, many pets are getting abandoned by their owners. It's good to be the first owner of a pet, but how about becoming a new owner of a pet?"

The government really needs to start and education program (similar to that of the one in Bali) to educate people about the importance of treating pets right. There are far too many abuse/neglect stories coming out of South Korea and it is really disheartening.
