On September 8, the Namdaemun Police Station revealed that they have booked without detention a man in his forties who threw hot cup ramen into the face of an employee at the convenience for not properly educating him on how to use the microwave.

According to the police, at about 2 AM on September 6, the man in his forties was microwaving his cup ramen when he suddenly started quarreling with the employee. Angered, the man took the cup ramen, which was boiling at this point, and threw it at the employee, resulting in second-degree burns on the face and neck areas.

The police found out through its investigation that the man was enraged because the employee did not properly listen to his request, so he did it out of anger.  The police plan to pass the man onto the prosecutors' office with their opinion on his prosecution.  You can watch the horrific video above.

I don't understand... People hate it when Korean people compares, but it's okay for others to compare other countries to Korea? Same exact thing could've happened the US with the same result. Not everyone in the US are macho, burly, and gangster like you.

I live in East LA. That's the hood. I've seen people throw things at cashiers at the supermarket and restaurants and no one did anything about it. Sometimes they'll do something about it, but most of the time people will just stand there and do nothing. I'm just trying to tell you that it's "only in Korea" that A LOT of non-Koreans like to say. You make it seem like everything negative and outrageous issues/events happen in Korea while the rest of the world operates normally and perfectly.

I bet he was drunk since it seems a bit extreme for just an ordinary sober day.

This doesn't have anything to do with male privilege. What advantage or special treatment was given this man because of his status as a male? He was caught and is being prosecuted. This is simply called being an a--hole.

You're right. Besides I've seen women act like this myself. They were also drunk.

Only someone with an inflated ego and sense of entitlement would think it's ok to attack someone for not listening to their orders properly. Decent people don't pull that shit.
