The woman, whose face was blotted out in a video by NoCutVideo, was allegedly carrying around a poster with words that read, "Dokdo is Japanese land." In the short clip, which has now circulated on numerous online communities, passengers can be heard violently protesting the young woman's claim.

One elderly man who seems to be in his 60's, points an accusatory finger at the girl, and angrily sputters, "Do you know how much we suffered from Japan?" and a woman in her 50's can be heard shrilly crying over and over, "Just who are you?" The young woman's voice can barely be heard throughout this altercation, though at one point she says, "It doesn't matter who I am," and "I understandKorean people's pride," but her voice is drowned out by the much louder rantings of the offended passengers. One lady tells her to "go live in Japan."

In the end, the young woman just gets off the subway, unable to handle the hysterical reactions from the other passengers. No one knows who the woman is and why she behaved in a way that incited anger from the public.
