Nick Cannon to co-produce upcoming Nickelodeon show about K-Pop, 'The Drop'

Buzz
Looks like the Hallyu Wave is still washing on the shores of the States as it has been reported that TV personality and actor Nick Cannon may be co-producing an upcoming show about K-Pop titled, 'The Drop', or 'K-Pop High'.

The show will be a musical comedy about high school. It will be set in a boarding school, where three girls meet and realize that they all have a love and knack for K-Pop. Perhaps it'll be a bit like'Glee' with a bit of K-pop sprinkled on the side.

"Aaaaaaay."

Cannon will be working on this DHX Media project alongside co-producers Tommy Lynch, Steve DeNure, Tracey Jardine, and Jim Corston. Other TV shows DHX Media has worked on include 'Arthur', 'Angela Anaconda', and 'The Adrenaline Project'. The production date is set to start somewhere between December 2014 and March 2015, and according to reports, will likely air on Nickelodeon.

Who else is excited for more K-Pop on TV?

Hopefully, as a tweens show, it won't be too cringe-inducing.
