A CCTV clip of a drunk driving accident is currently trending in South Korea as Korean netizens are shocked by the footage.

In the clip above, a car can be seen speeding down the street, destroying a whole row of street shops in the process. According to news reports, the accident occurred on October 8 around 10:09 PM in the city of Busan.

The driver was a 52-year-old woman Ms. Ji, who was intoxicated at the time of the accident. After crashing into several street shops, Ms. Ji was reported to have fled the scene. Residents of the neighborhood chased after her, and she was eventually arrested by the police two hours later.

There were a total of 11 victims. Two shopkeepers 68-year-old Ms. Kwon and 64-year-old Ms. Kim were tragically killed and nine others were injured. Three of these injured, including a 17-year-old Ms. Yoo, have received particularly severe injuries and are currently being treated at the hospital. 

Netizen reaction is mostly filled with anger, as top comments include, "Damn, this b*tch eats up her years, drinks up her alcohol, eats up her snacks, and finally eats up another's life," "Is she playing 'GTA' ('Grand Theft Auto')? In this world, this is the first time I've seen such a mindless woman. 2 killed + nine injured + shops damaged + hit and run. Honestly she should be imprisoned for life," and, "The fact that she grabbed a taxi and tried to run away with a conscious mind means she can't get a reduced sentence for being drunk, right?"
