Busan Police surprises high school CSAT examinees with tear-inducing video

Buzz
When the stress of school and the future is weighing heavily on our shoulders, it helps to know that our loved ones will stick with us no matter what. Recently, the Busan Police force shared a video on YouTube where they surprised a class of high school seniors with just what they needed--kind, reassuring, and loving words.

Back on July 29, 100 days prior to the 2015 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), the Busan Police paid a visit to the Dadae High School's third year class. Much like the SAT's in America, the CSAT is a standardized test that is a big factor for Korean universities and the Busan Police wanted to encourage and comfort the anxious students.

In the clip above, an officer gives a serious lecture on the CSAT titled, "100 days education on prevention." He turns on a TV to show a video, claiming that it will be part of the educational program.

He shocks the students instead with a video compilation of mothers conveying what they couldn't tell their children in person before, telling them not to worry so much about the exam, that they wish for their happiness, and that they love them. The students tear up upon hearing their parents' encouraging words, evidently touched by the gesture.

The 2015 CSAT will be taking place on November 13. With the exams being just 16 days away, the Busan Police posted an article by Insight featuring the video on their Facebook and wrote, "Good things come and come again. Now there really isn't much time left. Hwaiting (Fighting) Republic of Korea's examinees!"

Meanwhile, many commenters on Insight's Facebook page tagged friends who are possibly also high school students preparing for the CSAT. The very top comment, however, is a heartfelt message saying, "I cried while riding the subway. I love you Korea's sons and daughters. It's burdensome to study. Have strength," showing that even strangers were cheering on the high school seniors of Korea.
