According to researchers from the Korean Face Institute, the average face of South Koreans will look different by 2100.

Researchers came to this prediction after running a computer simulation with 20,000 photos of South Korean faces. As seen in the picture above, researchers believe that within 100 years women will have natural double eyelids, and both men and women will have thicker eyebrows and wider foreheads.

Researchers further revealed that back in 12,000 BC, the average Korean face (shown above) was more circular and had southern mongoloid features. It wasn't until the influx of Siberians in Korea that the northern mongoloid features combined with southern to eventually create the average, natural Korean face of today (shown below).

Now, southern mongoloid facial features are regaining their dominance in Korea. Researchers believe that this change is the result of Southeast Asians immigrating to Korea, as there are many cases of Southeast Asian women marrying Korean men.
