The 2nd round voting includes category-based awards including: Artist Award, Album Award, Best Song Award, Male Rookie Award, Female Rookie Award, Hot Trend Award, Netizen Popularity Award, Ballad Award, Male Dance Award, Female Dance Award, Rap/Hip-Hop Award, R&B/Soul Award, Indie Award, Rock Award, Trot Award, OST Award, and finally, the Pop (English music) Award.

Furthermore, the '2018 MMA' has just announced the honored top 10 artists of this past year. They are: MAMAMOO, BTS, Bolbbalgan4, A Pink, BTOB, Black Pink, EXO, iKON, TWICE, and Wanna One!
Another award which has been added to the '2018 MMA' is the 'Best Record Of The Year' award, which will be chosen based on professional judging, outside of fan votes. Meanwhile, the '2018 MMA' takes place this December 1 at 7 PM KST!

why red velvet is not here? I mean they were in top 10 on voting besides mamamoo and twice blackpink they were not even there but still they got in top 10 and I understand that both are top kpop groups but then why red velvet is not in top 10 list even when present in the ranking I mean power up is no. 1 in melon music among girl groups for unique listeners . They are not going to attend mama and now not even mma I was waiting for these last year award ceremonies to see them performing bad boy on these big award stages but now it's all in vain. Moreover I wanna see other artist reactions too. Last year their mma stage was fire.
