In the drama, Jun played a cold, young man set on getting revenge, named Lee Soo Gyeom. Although he hasn't received very much professional training in acting, Jun received abundant praise for his first ever acting role.
He shared, "During my first MV filming, I was bad at facial acting. The hyungs finished quickly but I took a long time, so it hurt my pride. My competitive side got the better of me, and I started practicing my facial expressions in the mirror whenever schedules ended. I was happy when I started getting better. After that, I started to just practice with random scripts, because I thought it would be fun to put in a little more emotion into my facial expressions and try real acting. And then, I got to take part in 'Avengers Social Club'."
Jun continued, "I grew up well-loved, so I'm a very bright person. But Soo Gyeom was a lonely, solitary person who didn't smile a lot. It was a lot of pressure and I wasn't confident. I started filming with the risks that I might get cursed out. But then I saw netizens' comments that said, 'He's from U-KISS?', and it made me incredibly happy. I was elated that they watched me without thinking that I was an idol."
