Minhyuk will be taking on the role of Kwak Hyun. When asked what made him decide on the role, he answered, "Kwak Hyun is portrayed as an incomplete character. I was attracted to the notion that he gradually changes when he meets Eun Chae (Ha Ji Won)."

He also added, "I feel a great amount of responsibility. As soon as I put on the hospital gown, it's as if I actually become a doctor."
