K-Pop songs with lyrics that will deeply move you

misc.
1. Lena Park - 'In Dreams'
Probably one of Korea's most moving songs both vocally and lyric wise, "In Dreams" is an emotional story - not just a song. Lena Park, aka Park Junghyun, tells the story of someone she loves visiting her dreams and how she must stay strong, overcome her sadness and move on with a happier heart.
2. BTOB - 'It's OK'
BTOB really pat our shoulders and lift up our spirits with this deep-hearted song. "It's OK" talks about the struggles of everyday life getting to you, walking around with heavy shoulders until the voice on the radio is the only thing keeping you afloat. We can all relate.
3. GLAM - 'Party XXO'
Not all emotional songs have to be sad or ballad-like. GLAM's "Party XXO" proves that to be true with its uplifting lyrics that promote equality and helps others understand it is OK to love freely. "Anyone can be Romeo or Juliet" and "You can shine brighter than anyone else." Words to live by.
4. Akdong Musician - 'Time and Fallen Leaves'
Akdong Musician (AKMU) really touch everyone's hearts with their moving pieces. Not only are their songs moody, but the whimsical melody and clever words of "Time and Fallen Leaves" will have you reflecting on the beautiful moments and people in your life (instead of the negative) as they sing, "Time passes like water and I'm building a dam called 'memories.'"
5. f(x) Amber - 'Beautiful'
The beautiful f(x) member Amber really wowed us all and touched our hearts with the release of her solo ballad "Beautiful." The song is relatable and personal as Amber describes her sunken confidence evolving into something wonderful as she finds pride in herself. Instead of keeping her head held low, Amber insists "We go high to the sky, to the stars."
6. Boyfriend - 'I'll Be There'
Have you ever loved so deeply that you are willing to do anything for that person? While not all moving songs have to be love songs, Boyfriend's "I'll Be There' is definitely a tear-jerker. With lyrics like, "If I talk to you in my heart, will you hear me?" and "In case you are somewhere alone, suffering alone, I will hurry and catch you." If that isn't love, I don't know what is.
7. Ladies' Code - 'I'm Fine, Thank You'
After the tragic passing of members Eun.B and RiSe, the song had a new meaning. Now, it is a song to commemorate the happy memories Ladies' Code shared together. However, the song can still uplift listeners as they release, despite all their hardships, they can continue to move forward and say "I'm fine, Thank you."
8. BTS - 'Never mind'
The boys of BTS, paired with Rap Monster's lyric skills, have definitely created some uplifting and woke tracks. The song "Never mind" has a lot of powerful flair as the boys talk about overcoming failure, people's harsh words and living to fulfill yourself - not other's standards. Know your own self-worth, never mind the rest and everything will be okay!
9. Girls' Generation - 'Dear Mom'
This classic song by Girls' Generation will always make our hearts waver. "Dear Mom" may appear to be talking about missing a lover, but it suddenly transforms with the chorus as the girls warmly sing, "I will become a warm-hearted person" and "The person I share my dreams with, the one who used to comb my hair, I'm thinking of my Mom." Mom's show us endless love and Girls' Generation wants us to be the same way!
10. IVY - 'Torn Heart'
Ivy's "Torn Heart" is really touching. Not only are her vocals completely outstanding with every high note, but you can feel the passion and pain as she sings "It hurts, it truly hurts me, [because] you're so bad."
