Previously, it was announced that Super Junior's Heechul was selected to be the homeroom teacher of 'Idol School'.
On June 12, the producers revealed that veteran actor Lee Soon Jae is appearing on 'Idol School' as the principle. Lee Soon Jae, who spent more than 60 years as an actor, will provide insightful advice to the girls as a sunbae in life and in the industry.
Along with Heechul and Lee Soon Jae, Black Eyed Pilseung has been confirmed to be the producer. He has produced many hit tracks such as TWICE's ''Like OOH-AHH'', ''Cheer Up'', SISTAR's ''Touch My Body'', and more. SM vocal trainer Jang Jin Young, who you might be familiar as Jeon So Mi's crush on 'Unnies' Slam Dunk 2', is joining as the music teacher. Choreographer Park Joon Hee and former The Grace member Stephanie are in charge of the dance classes.
'Idol School' will take place at English Village in Paju. The location is currently being used for 'Produce 101'. The students of the show will go through 11-week training and the top students will be debuting in a girl group after graduation. The show is scheduled to air in July.
