tvN will be launching a new family variety show with producer Kim Yoo Gon, who created 'Dad, Where Are We Going?'.
The new show is currently being called 'Leaving the Nest', and will consist of children in their 10s and 20s who leave their family homes for the first time to live in an outside environment. The similarity between the cast members will be that they are all children of celebrities. According to tvN, the staff put in a lot of effort in recruiting the celebrity children for the show. The parents will also be watching their children's lifestyles, having discussions about them afterward.
It's been revealed that the cast and crew flew off to Nepal to begin filming this May 26. Similar to Jules Vernes's famous novel 'Two Year's Vacation', the show will film the children living in a secluded, mountain village without aid from outside sources.
'Leaving the Nest' is set to air some time in July. Does the premise catch your attention?
