Lee Tae Im spoke up about the recent rumors regarding her looks.

The actress has been accused of undergoing cosmetic surgery due to her change in appearance. Netizens were even more convinced that she has gone under the knife when she appeared on the April 11 episode of 'Video Star'. It's claimed that her jaw looks greatly different. On the show, Lee Tae Im also brought shock as she revealed that she only ate 3 spoons of rice per day for her diet. This led to concerns about her eating habits.

After the broadcast, the talk about Lee Tae Im's changed looks continued. In response, her label Management HENEM explained, "Since last year, she started to lose weight with strict self-care but many are showing concerns for her health so she plans to gain weight again."

As for the rumors of cosmetic surgery and eating disorder, the label said, "There was no time for her to get cosmetic surgery. She promoted continuously." Management HENEM emphasized, "The cosmetic surgery rumors are false. The weight loss is also not a result of an eating disorder. We think there's a misunderstanding because she was involved in a controversial incident in the past. She simply started going on a diet because she wanted to be pretty on the screen as an actress."

I'm really glad she got the backlash on her so called "diet." Even if she lost the weight that way it will come back immediately after she starts to eat normally.

It just blows my mind that even after she told everybody that she  only ate three spoons of rice every day during her diet, they still deny she has an eating disorder? Logic??? Where is it???

3 spoons a rice per day to "look pretty" when you're already thin is an unhealthy eating disorder. Period.

When people lose weight, they don't lose bone. In fact they gain a more leaner look, cheek bones and jaw bones get more defined. She didn't lose that beautiful jaw line by weight loss alone and if she did, she needs to go to the doctor ASAP Her body may be taking calcium from her bones from the lack of food she eats.

"She simply started going on a diet because she wanted to be pretty on the screen as an actress." - Going on a diet as severe as this to be pretty IS an eating disorder, and this statement actively promotes such an action by downplaying how harmful it is. Companies ought to be more careful with the statements they make on issues as sensitive as this one. But actors/actresses also seriously need to stop talking about crash diets and the like in their interviews, it just encourages copy-cat behaviour.

She kinda had that coming. Three spoonfuls of rice isn't enough for anyone. She might as well have said she doesn't eat at all.
