It looks like season 2 of Mnet's 'Produce 101' has started out on the wrong foot.

SEE ALSO: 'Produce 101's Lee Hae In confirms she has left HYWY Entertainment, will not be debuting with Lee Soo Hyun

As was the format in the first season, the contestants held their first performance of "Pick Me" on 'M! Countdown' and were graded from A to F. Though all 101 contestants practiced hard before filming, one got injured just before the cameras went on.

According to reports, the unlucky contestant got his foot lodged between stages during practice. The injury was not serious, but he still had to receive treatment. However, it hasn't been revealed yet whether or not he made it to the official filming.

You'll have to see what happens on the premiere of 'Produce 101' season 2 on April 7 KST. Hopefully, he made it!

seriously? you had to be homophobic just there? i don't think you get how kpop, or even korea, works. these guys have to be in top shape at all times to perform as well as they do, and have to take great care of their bodies. for all you know he may have twisted his ankle, in which case it needs to rest for a couple of days. you don't even know if he complained at all; it was most likely the producers that sent him to get treatment anyway. idols, both male and female, get sent to the hospital constantly just for having a cold. it has virtually nothing to do with their sexual orientation. i don't know why you even think that, but gay individuals are no different from other individuals. they're not weak. stop being a douche and read up on stuff before you go around being an asshole.

what if he did that injury intentionally? I mean they said it wasnt serious, maybe that trainee did it on purpose to get more screen time, because he knows he'll create drama, food for thoughts here, we had sneaky and shady trainee last year there's always going to be a few of those

As observation, the MNET 'triangular' stages seemed RAISED HEIGHT ones ; that you *might* fall off of them IF you stepped too far. *Hopefully* they have like 'padding' of some sort around the edges on the ground ; to 'break' the impact of a possible fall.

You're seriously using quotation marks very wrongly.

Normally your OVER CAPITALIZATION and the *ridiculous asterisks*, although annoying, can be ignored as idiosyncrasies, but you really shouldn't be proud of the fact you're using the inverted commas incorrectly. They have an actual punctuation purpose, google it.

it is. the song they performed on 09 March 2017 is "Me, its Me" there is ANOTHER performance of "Pick Me" (Male version) due to be aired on next week's MCountdown. I believe he was injured while recording the Pick Me stage for next week's broadcast.

no, not the one from season 1. their song's title is Pick Me like season 1's, but it's Korean title is Me, It's Me probably makes people confused. :) so all in all yes they did perform their own Pick Me
