Hello Venus member Nara made a guest appearance on KBS2's 'Happy Together' on March 16, where she revealed her secret to obtaining a slim, fit figure.

When asked regarding her body, "Were you naturally born that way?" Singer Nara commented, "I actually weighed 10kgs more than how I am now when I first debuted."

She then added, "I searched online for some good dieting tips. And while searching, I came across supermodel Miranda Kerr's diet method," making the audience wonder.

Nara then said, "Basically, don't eat any white foods."  When the guests asked, "What are those?" She replied, "Like white rice, white flour, salt and such."

In heard of it before, I remember Model, Jin Kyung (the one with Jota on WGM) also dun eat white carbs, like White rice, White bread, but she takes Brown rice. its because White carbs has a VERY high GI, and releases sugar into the blood very rapidly, so unless you "burn" it up very fast, like a sportsman, its going to be stored as fats. As for Salt and Sugar, well they are well known to be bad for diets.

I eat mixed grained rice, the problem is bread!! As for salt haven't had that for some time along with diary milk, only drink Soy (homemade).

White rice tastes like it's been soaking in water for a week. At least in the west it does.

LOL it's like a fresh white milk is a NO, but if add chocolate to the same milk and the color change then it's OK

There's actually a lot "white foods" with almost 0 calories + loaded with vitamins, minerals and fiber that help with your metabolism and burn fat such as Onions, Cauliflowers, Garlic, Turnips, Parsnips & Mushrooms.

Not sure but I think when she said "White food" she was talking more about pasta, white flour, bread, rice ect... also cow milk isn't the best stuff in the world for human body so I guess that's on her "not eating that" list.

milk is very good for you even from cows but it depends where you are from as to how well your body is adapt to it though. some shouldn't drink it and as an asian i can see why she wouldn't. everything should be consumed in moderation. always have a variety in your diet and control portion size.

Please tell me you're joking nut milks are by far better for you than milk of an animal contaminated with pus and pumped with hormones.

of course nuts are good healthy fats and milk made from them is good for you. id rather eat the nuts themselves less processed anyway. I'm not comparing the two. im just saying if youre not lactose intolerate and genetically adapt to cows milk it isn't bad for you to drink it. yes they put hormones and what not in there...theres obviously organic hormone free cows milk out there but that isn't the issue im getting at. hormones and what not don't bother me...but im not someone to get scared of a little gmo here and there either.

No wonder the world is getting bigger. People willingly poison themselves with growth hormones.

Cow milk is actually pretty bad for human's body. Too much fat and poisoned stuff like growth hormones antibiotic and others dangerous substance.
