The battle for the final district representatives was held on the March 3 broadcast of 'School Rapper'.

For the Seoul Gangseo district, NCT Dream's Mark, Shin Sang Ho, and Kim Jong Bum formed a group for a battle. The competition between Mark and Shin Sang Ho was highly anticipated as they were named as the two of the best rappers.

Judge Xitsuh complimented Mark, saying, "Mark's gestures are great. He was the most relaxed when feeling the rhythm." On the other hand, judge Jessi praised Shin Sang Ho, saying, "Shin Sang Ho is my type. I think he'll do good."

The judges struggled to choose the final winner as both Mark and Shin Sang Ho put on a stellar performance. However, Mark was ultimately named the final district representative. Giri Boy explained the judges' decision, and said, "Mark's confidence and potential will increase even more when we support him."

For the Gyeongin district, MC GREE, Oh Dam Ryul, and Park Ko Hoon formed a group for a battle. Oh Dam Ryul started off strong but failed to successfully finish as he made multiple mistakes and froze up. Park Ko Hoon also finished with disappointment as he wasn't able to rap much at all. MC GREE was the only one to finish with no mistakes despite his poor health condition.

Ultimately, MC GREE was named the final district representative.

Congrats to them, but I feel sorry for those who didn't already have support like these two did.  Kinda feels like they are taking the opportunity away from someone else since they already have labels and strong backing wheras the others don't

There is a difference between being known locally and being known nationally/having the opportunity to gain a new audience via a television program. Mc Gree and Mark would've both still done well even without being chosen because they have well known backing, the other kids do not. I understand it's business (i.e. more people will tune in with more popular names) but I just wish the others would've chosen an extra from each area to at least give them a chance.

they are only getting voted by the other rappers who are there, and the rest of the voting comes from the judges, so wether they have backing or not dont mean nothing on this show, not at this stage anyway, they will get picked purley because they are the better rapper on the day, not because where they come from or what company

Even your fellow competitors can be biased tbh. I've seen it happen quite often on reality shows. I'm not trying to imply they aren't talented though. I know that even with their backing, if they sucked, they wouldn't have gotten votes.

I am so confused by how this show is laid out, like there is no description anywhere. I didn't realize there were going to be teams and now there's just single representatives?? Some one please explain what the heck is going on. Every episode is just a mystery for me...

Right!!! Maybe coz it's in korean, but even then... From what I gathered watching it: 1st. You compete from your area in which you attend school. So in one area (neighborhood) there is like one or two schools. They 'audition' and make a short list and then do that rap where they are ranked and put into area teams. 2nd. Once in teams, within the team they have to battle it out. So in a team of 9 kids, they divide into 3 groups and do a group battle until there is only one group left. 3rd. Within that group there is only 3 left and thus those 3 battle it out and the winner gets to be the sole representative of the area they are representing. 4th. Once a representative is chosen do they really battle with others 1 on 1. Hope that make sense. I too am heaps confused while watching because they don't explain it clearly and the areas spellings are all similar and stuff, but it is basic competition layout

You da real mvp trickyblues, thank you so much! I feel like they skip so often in the episodes too so one second they go from battling against the other teams, you get to see maybe 2 of those, and then all of a sudden they're battling within teams. It's a fun show, but man I'm perpetually confused when I watch it raw haha.

Yeah they seem to cut a lot or only pick the ones with serious cred. They are so gonna play Mark and MC GREE against other rappers before going against each other for sure coz that's where all the drama is at.
