Fans of Big Bang's T.O.P are being criticized for not listening to his wishes and sending farewell gifts.

On February 9, the oldest member of Big Bang enlisted in the military for his mandatory service. Prior to enlistment, T.O.P emphasized his wishes to make his enlistment as quiet as possible. However, his fans sent big balloons with his name on it and multiple huge banners with farewell messages to the training center on his enlistment day.

Netizens are calling the fans unmannerly for the extravagant farewell messages. What are your thoughts on the issue?

Even thought that's a little too much, I understand where they are coming from I mean TABI shouldn't expect fans to be quiet coz that's impossible. He is the first member of BiGBang that went to the military so that should be expected anyhow they should've worked on granting his wish. Mixed feelings sorry guys

EXTRa top fans couldn even respect the v same man who they claim to love and support. He was covered top to bottom and didnt want to reveal himself and went straight in without any fan interaction, its much harder on him than on these fans.JUNSU  fans were in large anounts too but top fans were overthetop

im disappointed that the fans went overboard but i do understand where they're coming from bcoz he is the first member of Bigbang to enlist. I think gathering and saying good bye would have been more than enough but all of this was probably just an inconvenience to him, the other soldiers and the training center. i hope they learn their lesson and that next time when the other members enlist they can respect their wishes and be considerate of others who are also enlisting and their families.

Nobody was there. Plus, it's just banners and balloons that won't harm him. He needs to learn no matter how private he wants to be, there are still going to be some fans giving him some love and support during his enlistment.

this would be fine, i would agree with you, but top has emphasized not wanting any attention so many times, it's almost mockery when fans do this. they could've sent the center a couple flower bouquetes, that would be completely enough, but they went and did something so extravagant.

Wrong there were people there and they even took photos. It was incredibly disrespectful to the other men that were going to start their training too. The banners and balloons were a distraction and drew unneeded attention to him when he just wanted to enlist peacefully. There are going to be other trainees jealous of the attention not to mention there are many Korean men that think idols don't do proper military work so he's going to have to prove himself. The fans just made that more difficult by emphasizing his celebrity status. If fans really wanted to honor him they should have donated that money to the charity he sponsors for Asian Artists or done a banner somewhere else in public and had pictures posted online of it. Nothing should have been done at the training center itself.
