In his recent interview with Yonhap News, Yang mentioned, "TWICE is quite popular these days" to J.Y. Park in the the 'KPOPSTAR' waiting room, "You're better at making girl groups".�He added, "J.Y. Park is better at creating girl groups than me since he has a more feminine way of expressing things artistically." �However, he mentioned, "JYP's Wonder Girls, TWICE and YG's 2NE1 and Black Pink both have different styles. There's diversity in girl groups and it's a good thing."

He added that "J.Y. Park is an innocent person... Unlike me who doesn't express much emotion, he is someone who likes to express his emotions a lot." Yang Hyun Suk also praised J.Y. Park for being a great producer and composer.
