In the interview, Boa talked about beating Michelle Lee in 'Hip Hop Nation 2' to move on to the semi-finals.  She said, "I was very worried because I was in the learning stage, but I'm grateful because the voters viewed me positively."

Bohyung said about winning 'Girl Spirit,' "It was a program where I felt so much burden and responsibility.  While preparing myself, I practiced a lot and it became a chance for me to develop my skills. I learned a lot from those who participated with me. My skills greatly improved through 'Girl Spirit' and my name got out there more, enabling me to appear on other shows for which I'm grateful."

Sihyun said about her dieting method, "I think the best method is to not eat and to exercise.  If you really want to lose a lot of weight, [ingest] only 500 kilocalories a day. Seeing as how I take in 500 kilocalories of things that don't taste good, I take one bite of yummy food, then exercise."

Narae said about working on a radio show with Kim Shin Young, "Kim Shin Young and ILAC have good personalities and are witty, so they helped me get quickly adjusted even though I am very shy.  I think that's why I've been  doing okay up to now."

Jiwon said about her kiss scene in her musical, "I've touched lips before for a kiss scene when I did a 'Chapstick' commercial. I thought that if I had kiss scenes with those actors, their significant others would get angry, but after doing [the kisses] on stage, I don't even remember anything.  It just felt like I acted and then came off stage. I think of it as work."

Only 500 calories a day? How is she not passing out, that's definitely not healthy

kddicted Tuesday, January 3, 2017

No girl..500cals a day isn't healthy.

hiroonakamura Tuesday, January 3, 2017

yet another korean celeb who dishes on their stupid diet method. NEVER eat just 500 kcal per day. It's not recommended at all by any dietist in the world. You can eat 1300-1800 kcal if you excercise regularly and you'll keep losing weight all the time

AGAIN WITH THESE STUPID "DIETING METHODS"!!!It's more like tell people how to STARVE themselves.I serious hate how these idols says stuff like this, like it is a badge of honor. It's like she's saying," I want to be an idol SO MUCH I am willing to do something as ridiculous and dangerous as this!"

eager_beaver Tuesday, January 3, 2017

"I think the best method is to not eat and to exercise." No, girl, just no. That is pretty much exactly what you're not supposed to do.

eager_beaver Tuesday, January 3, 2017

Is that Bohyung in that blue outfit? Looks super-duper good.

500  Kcal a day... Honestly I'm not surprised and it makes sens in the way 80% of female idols are underweight and if they look good and slim on camera or photoshoots, they actually are skeletons in reality. There is no way they're eating normally (at least 1800 Kcal a day) even if they work out.

The only dieting method coming from idols that would actually ''surprise'' me would be a heathly diet method... 500 kcal a day is ridiculous. I'm so tired of hearing idols promote those unheathly eating habits. I understand that they want to ''look good'', and be thin and that society plays a large role in why they feel the need to have such habits but I wish they would realise that what's even more important than be thin and beautiful is being heathly. That our body is important and we need to respect it and give it everything it needs. They don't realize because they're still young but eventually life will catch up with them and they'll see that such unheathly habits have consequences in the long run.

Exactly. The only healthy diet is a balanced diet, fact. They're causing a lot of harm to their bodies and it's not worth it.

flamboyant_pants ladymisono Tuesday, January 3, 2017

Agreed. I really surprised that the companies don't provide counseling from expert Nutritionists. Or, they don't personally go see a Nutritionist. You can be on a strict diet that maintains the weight they need to keep that "Idol" look. It's hard, requires a lot of discipline, but it can be done. There are plenty of food that is high in nutrition but very low in calories. They are all BORING as f@%k to eat, and no fun, but they're there and they don't starve your body. Really guys and girls, see a Nutritionist.

T_sinis ladymisono Tuesday, January 3, 2017

it's unhealthy af the thing is they do these extreme diet because they want result super fast. Between comebacks they don't keep regular work out and careful eating that's why they've to lose a lot of weight. Simply because having a good body is a matter of constant discipline, one they don't have. Those who had the discipline never promoted these horrible diets. As female representative i think about Kahi for example
