Seohyun took over the 1st place in album sales!

Her first solo mini album 'Don't Say No' was released on the 18th, and the album ranked #1 on various album sales charts such as Hanteo and Hottracks. The feat is especially special because Seohyun wrote lyrics for 6 out of the 7 songs in the mini album.

I'm really happy for her. The fact she wrote the lyrics of 6 song out of 7 makes it even more special.

My thoughts exactly -- it makes the album personal, and I feel we listeners get a glimpse into her thoughts and emotions :)

YAY! I'm glad she's doing well on the physical album chart!

I hope I don't get disliked for this, but I can't help but wonder why Seohyun, Taeyeon and Jessica were all successful in their solo ventures, but Tiffany wasn't? Just genuinely wondering, since I thought she was one of the more popular SNSD members. She has the visuals and the voice, her songs were decent too, what is she missing?

IGOTBUDDIES Nutelladela Monday, January 23, 2017

as a tiffany bias, for me the song she debuted solo with wasn't that good.. that made me lose interest. but that's just me..

Sophia_Sone4ever Nutelladela Monday, January 23, 2017

It wasn't a genre that Korean general public don't really prefer I feel. Even as a sone I didn't liked the song tbh.

JM999 Nutelladela Monday, January 23, 2017

I think "I just wanna dance" sounded very western for koreans audiences, but she still won a few awards in music shows.

Gallifreyan7 Nutelladela Tuesday, January 24, 2017

If heard somewhere that Tiffany isn't really that popular ( even before the flag controversy ) . Or should I say less popular than the maknae and two main vocal. And as many people already mentioned. IJWD was a bit too western for Korean fan.

wow daebak, more album to come

eirayza Sunday, January 22, 2017

the song is just great and matches with SH's voice so well.. so no surprise there. (For me) this is the best solo debut of an SNSD yet.

Don't Say No is 3rd in Tower Records despite not having promotions in Japan. Unnie is doing really great, congratulations Seolady!!! You've worked hard, you deserve all the good things now. ❤️

skididdlepopper SophiiSone Sunday, January 22, 2017

she's dropped to 5th though

SophiiSone skididdlepopper Monday, January 23, 2017

I don't know how, can you do it instead please? 🙁 Oh well, 5th is still good, I guess.😊 It's the 2nd largest music industry we're talking about after all!

intricate skididdlepopper Monday, January 23, 2017

i'm not sure but 5th in japan still outnumbers first in korea in terms of sheer revenue afaik hahah..
