During the press conference for tvN's 'New Journey to the West 3', for which Super Junior's Kyuhyun got cast as a new member, the interviewers brought up the idol's upcoming military enlistment.
Kyuhyun has made clear his plans to enlist some time in 2017. He said, "I'm the only Super Junior member who has yet to enlist. All of the member are either serving right now or have been discharged. I also plan on parting ways with viewers for some time this year, but because it's something that everyone does and everyone needs to do, I don't feel pressured or rushed about it at all."
He further went on to clarify the common misconception that he's in a rush to enlist. He added, "Every week for the last 2 years, Kim Gu Ra has talked about my enlistment on 'Radio Star'. Because there's talk about my enlistment every week for the last about 104 weeks, people tend to think that I have concerns about it, but I do not."
Well that's that! You can catch Kyuhyun on the prequel to 'New Journey to the West 3' being broadcast via Naver TV Cast from January 5-6, before the full season begins on tvN on January 8!
