Ever since his concert, Taecyeon's solo activities is receiving much recognition. Especially with the fact that he wrote and composed all the songs on his album 'Winter Alone,' with the exception of "Kiseki," a cover song of GReeeeN.
Being that this was Taecyeon's first ever solo concert, fans were going wild to the extent that tickets were sold out well ahead of time.
In order to show his appreciation to fans, Taecyeon sang his title song, "Winter-Alone," and appeared from behind the audience section surprising them. Afterwards, he asked, "Is everyone having fun? This is Taecyeon from 2PM," and greeted fans accordingly.
The singer sang several of his songs from Winter Alone,' like, "Yaritakunaii" ("Don't Want To") with intense rapping, "I LOVE U', U LOVE ME Rock ver." as well as a rock version of 2PM's "Flight," rearranged to fit Taecyeon's powerful guitar rifts.
Also, a video clip from 2011 was shown of 2PM during their first Japan tour, where Taecyeon sang, "Kiseki," as fans cheered in unison.
Not only that, the singer danced along to a powerful dance song, "Kimitake Janaii" ("You're Not the Only One"), enticing fans with fancy dance choreography.
Fans were able to witness Taecyeon's charm with every single minute of the performance which lasted for an hour.
For the encore, Taecyeon sang 2PM's "Don't Forget Me," and made a promise with his fans to 'not forget.' As a surprise gift from fans, a photo collage was displayed on the LED screen of Taecyeon performing in Japan as well as fan photos and together they sang "Miracle." The singer sent a message, "It's miracle we've met," out to his fans, making some shed tears of joy.
Lastly, staring at the banner spread across the hall, 'We will always wait for you,' Taecyeon promised his fans, "I will definitely come again," and sang "I LOVE U, U LOVE ME."
On the final day of the concert, 2PM members Nichkhun and Chansung made guest appearances to cheer on his fellow member, illustrating a brotherly bond. Taecyeon's first Japanese solo album Winter Alone is slated to be released on January 18.
