Seventeen went cool and tough for 'Dazed' magazine.
The idol stars rocked a badass concept that contrasts with their well-known cute image. It's reported that the members found the unfamiliar concept very exciting, leading to much fun on set.
In the interview following the photo shoot, Seventeen discussed their latest release "BOOMBOOM". First, Mingyu said, "We tried to add manliness to our original pure image. All the members exercised hard and took good care of themselves because we wanted to return with a cool, mature look." Vernon shared next, saying, "It's an album that I have pride in. I definitely think we have matured more than before."
Wonwoo followed, "It contains tracks with a wide spectrum of music. We wanted to show that the 13 of us can portray a variety of genres." Lastly, S. Coups said, "The title song 'BOOMBOOM' depicts the heart-pounding moment of running towards one's dreams. We wanted to show Seventeen's passionate side. I think it was a process where we developed into young men from boys."
