After the impeachment vote result was announced, many stars took to their social media accounts to show their interest, approval, and even excitement at the result.
Hyosung uploaded a selfie with a caption, "...234.56.7 What a great rhyme," referring to the number of votes. 234 voted for impeachment, 56 against, and 7 did not vote in the National Assembly.
2PM's Chansung tweeted right before the voting began, "I hope today won't be a shameful day in history..." After the result, he retweeted the voting result from JTBC's Twitter:
