Yang Hyun Suk has spoken up about the rumors relating YG Entertainment and the current President scandal.

As the controversy regarding Choi Soon-Sil and President Park Geun Hye grew, the entertainment industry, especially YG Entertainment, was also brought into the issue. Rumors speculated a relation between YG and the President scandal. Disptach even published an exclusive report explaining YG's possible relation to the controversy.

On November 10 during a press conference for SBS 'K-Pop Star 6', one reporter gave Yang Hyun Suk a question hinting at the rumors and asked, "Nothing's going to make you leave during the show, right?"

Yang Hyun Suk answered with a smile, '"There will not be a departure in the middle [of the show]." He then expressed frustration as he added, "I don't understand why people believe such rumors. There's 0% relation. I haven't seen director Cha Eun Taek (the figure who's speculated to have been the 'tie' between YG and Choi Soon-Sil), for more than 10 years. It's not worth explaining myself on such things, and it's also an awkward point."

No one in Korea wants to be tied in with their own president right now. Hopefully, that's not where the USA is headed...

Maybe you've missed the hundreds of thousands protesting and the petition to make the EC do a recount. The new president did not win the popular vote but is the new president through the votes of the EC

There's a reason that EC is in place and it's not the pop vote that counts. Those that are protesting are sore losers plain and simple. I personally think Trump is a political buffoon, BUT I'm also hoping he's far enough outside of the establishment to affect real change during his term(s).

Imo, most people are not protesting for an electoral recount but rather protesting to say that they do not acknowledge trump as president. I know because Im from california and many of my friends are protesting. in american history, 5 presidents have won the ec and not the popular vote it isnt something new.

He'll be fine. J.Y.Park had a major rumor backlash in 2014, in 2015 his company got a great result. Who knows, maybe this kinds of rumor is what makes companies to really start rolling.

Plus, I feel that getting YG on the news seems like they wanted to distract the people from watching the politicians, making the entertainment companies as scapegoats.
