During the show, Park Hae Jin asked his question, "Am I abnormal for collecting 1,800 pairs of sneakers?" Everyone on the show was shocked to hear this, as the actor explained, "When I go home, the shoes are inside the rooms and in the living room. They are all new shoes."

He added, "I started it initially as an emotional comfort. When I was young, my family's financial situation wasn't good. So when I started working and could afford to buy one by one, I started to collect them."

That's just one other person. Most celebrities or wealthy people might have a lot of shoes as well, but they don't have 1,000+ shoes in their homes. That's too much in all honesty and at the same time, there's just no need for that many shoes.

Darlene Flynn had a record 16,400 pair collection of shoes. *Now, that's something. Mayor have 3000 pairs of sneakers. Jordy Geller have 2504 pairs of sneakers in 2012. Not to mention Andre Iguodala, DJ Khaled, and etc. So yup. he's not abnormal.

And that's the EXCEPTION not the rule. The average person does not have that many shoes making them Abnormal.

Don't people who grew up poor save money instead when they get rich? I grew up poor and now I'm making a lot of money and I save my money even though I have more than enough to spend.
