Singer Min Kyung Hoon talked about his slumping and gaining 66 pounds!
On the November 22 installment of tvN's 'Taxi,' Heechul and Min Kyung Hoon made a duo guest appearance.
On the show, Min Kyun Hoon discussed the days when he was in a slump, saying, "I hit a slump and did not even know it was a slump...I was dominated by the thought, 'Why are these things happening to me?'"
He explained, "I was in a band [Buzz], and all the older members went into the military, so I worked as a solo artist, but the public reaction wasn't that good. After that, I was disappointed in myself. Before that, all the albums did well, but from some point, I lost confidence and started to have complaints. So I just stayed home and drank."

That is how he ended up gaining so much weight. He explained, "I was originally 60 kg (132 lbs) and I went up to 90 kg (198 lbs). I didn't know what to do, and I just thought that there was no way out."
Min Kyung Hoon also made a surprising reveal that he was almost cast in the mega hit drama 'Boys Over Flowers' during that time. He said, "One of the projects that came to me back then was one of the F4 roles in 'Boys over Flowers.' But I was fat and had no confidence, so I did not even want to go to the meeting...I went out of my house only a few times that entire year."
The singer ended on a happier note, saying, "Now, I think I have recovered after meeting people and talking to them."
