Comedian Lee Se Young, who has been the center of the sexual harassment controversy involving B1A4, INFINITE, and Block B, has decided that she will not be accepting an award from '24th Korean Culture and Entertainment Awards.'
A representative of the awards organization reported on November 29, "Lee Se Young was chosen to receive an award in the comedian category, but since the controversy, she contacted us to let us know that she will not be accepting the award."
Regarding her attending the ceremony, Lee Se Young's agency, FNC Entertainment, stated, "This awards show was scheduled a long time ago. However, because of the current situation, it was decided that it wouldn't be right to attend." Regarding Lee Se Young turning down the award, the agency staff said, "Lee Se Young strongly felt that was right, and she also discussed it with the agency. After giving it a thought, we asked the awards show organization for their understanding."
The awards show will take place on November 30, and G-Friend, IOI, ASTRO, and KNK are some of the confirmed guests.
