Super Junior's Kyuhyun made an appearance on the November 13 installment of 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' to talk about his recovery from his recent vocal cord nodules surgery and his transformation into a rapper!
During the interview, Kyuhyun said, "I showed my fans a photo of my vocal cords," but he added, "My vocal cords got better, but now my esophagus is bad." In response, MC Yoo Hee Yeol said solemnly, "I pray for Kyuhyun's healthy esophagus," earning a big laughter from the audience.
Kyuhyun discussed his recent concert. He explained that he told his fans that there would be a special rapper guest... and that rapper was himself. Kyuhyun stated, "I started (rapping) to be funny, but I was so good that I surprised myself. I have swag flowing in me." He even transformed into 'Kyu-Y' on the spot and performed BewhY's "Forever" and surprised everyone. Yoo Hee Yeol's reaction was, "It doesn't look cool, but you are really good." To that, Kyuhyun responded, "If I go on 'Show Me the Money', the other rappers wouldn't have a chance."
Kyuhyun also revealed his hidden girl group dance talent by dancing to "Cheer Up" by TWICE. As soon as he was done dancing, Kyuhyun tried to run away in embarrassment but got caught by Yoo Hee Yeol, who grabbed him by the back of his neck. MC Yoo Hee Yeol's review of the dance? He stated, "It looks dirty."
