SBS's new drama, 'The Legend of the Blue Sea' released still cut photos of actress Jun Ji Hyun playing a mermaid who is adapting to life above the water.
'The Legend of the Blue Sea' released 3 photos today to public. The pictures show Jun Ji Hyun as a naive mermaid who is learning the way of life outside of the ocean. In one photo, Jun Ji Hyun is seen holding cell phones in her hand and admiring them.
The staff of the drama also report that the mermaid character will also be facinated by the food that people eat.
'The Legend of the Blue Sea' depicts a historical tale passed down in Korea about a mermaid, and is a fantasy romance drama with Jun Ji Hyun playing the role of the last mermaid on earth and Lee Min Ho playing the role of city-dwelling con man.
It will premiere on November 16!
