Netizens are criticizing actress Kim Yoo Jung's poor word choice during a recent interview.

During an October 26 interview with Ten Asia, the actresses talked about her desire to meet with Park Bo Gum again in a drama set in the modern era. She stated, "If we meet again next time, it would be fun for me to be higher ranking -- I would be a daughter of a chaebol (large, family-owned conglomerates) family and Bo Gum would be a son of a small store-owning family."

Many netizens became outraged by the actress' perception of the rich being a high rank and the less wealthy being a lower rank.

Here are the top 3 most voted up comments from the original article, which has been taken down since the controversy.

"She sounds like a child and not wise, maybe because she was raised like a plant in a greenhouse (overprotected)."

"Seems like she is still stuck in the old-era. There's no such thing as ranking these days lol"

"Is being almost a senior in high school considered young? lol Idols who debut at 16 don't get defended for their behaviors because of their age. Why do you people treat child actors like little babies? She is almost 20 (Korean age), so shouldn't she be able to know what's okay to say or not? This isn't the first time she is speaking thoughtlessly like this..."

Honestly she described like every other  kdrama and the right are higher than the poor it will always be that way ... pretty sure all three commenters were around her age..  older people would not take this to seriously

Wtf. She was only speaking on her mind. Plus thats how a typical KDrama storyline is anyway, TAKE a look at The Heirs for example.

I thought that is like a typical korean drama plot line??? Netizen should just really get a life and stop just criticizing ppl every single moment.

I swear all Koreans do is criticize people. Aren't they the ones who make dramas about the rich-boy-poor-girl plot and about how the poor girl doesn't have power because she's poor? So hypocritical!
