The singer first revealed thoughts on his new role as a DJ, and said, "I really try my best at the things I love doing and I tend to be dedicated to the very end. Every time I heard about the radio, I wanted to do it. I will not be late and I will do my best. I also think that I need to refrain myself from making dangerous statements that tend to pop out at times."
FNC Entertainment has supposedly talked to Hongki about this matter. Hongki explained, "You know, the image [between me and FNC] isn't too pretty so we both have to be careful about what we say. My bosses told me that they will not bother me at all, and begged for me to stop making statements about the label. I'm going to try to keep that promise. But if the label bothers me in some way, I might unconsciously fire back."
He jokingly added, "I'm the one doing the live radio so I'm the one with the weapon."
