7. One In A Million

After two record-breaking albums, TWICE is back to take you for a ride with 'TWICEcoaster: LANE 1.' It's their first anniversary, and they've once again teamed up with hitmaker Black Eyed Pilseung for their title track. This one has seven brand new tracks to fill your ears.

"TT" is high-energy tune with some retro sounds. Sana's nananas make for just one of the many highly effective hooks in this song. It's their title track and has achieved a perfect all-kill just like "Cheer Up." There's no denying this one deserves accolades. It's an adorable little number and showcases their cute side perfectly.

For your daily dose of sweetness, crank up "1 to 10." Conveniently located right after the chart-topping "TT," this track is a bit of mid-tempo goodness. The girls know how to leverage their vocals for maximum cuteness. It's pretty good complement to "TT," too; definitely a song that's light on the ears. It's cute and has that effervescent quality that makes a pop song fun.

"Ponytail" has a guitar-influenced tune that I love. It may be simulated, but who cares? This tune totally rocks, from the sweet verses to the fierce chants that have become this girl groups signature sound. Frankly, I would have promoted this song as the main single or at least a B-side, but they didn't ask me.

"One In A Million" is a pretty, soft pop tune. They again went with a guitar, this time acoustic, and it blends well with the rest of the production. These girls can do more than cheerleader shouts, and nowhere on this EP is it more evident than this track. After the energetic tracks, this song is a soothing panacea. It's got an epic feel to it, particularly toward the end.

TWICE has once again killed it with this EP. The songs all rely on the youthfulness of the girls, using exuberance and enthusiasm to their advantage on each track. But they deliver well, and it reflects the same attitude as spending time at a theme park -- right on concept. If you liked 'Page Two,' this should be right up your alley.

MV REVIEW

See the girls in all manner of costumes in "TT"!

It's a Halloween-themed video, and the girls are dressed up in a wide variety of outfits, from a pirate to a fairy, a devil, a bunny, and even Pinocchio! The sets are actually pretty well done, and there's enough there to keep you from looking too hard -- the painted backdrop for the pirate scene, for example.

Other than that, the wardrobe is a wonderful blend of classy and sexy. They do a good job of blending the two, but netizens will still complain, I'm sure. The actual costumes are gorgeous and certainly drew my eye.

The dancing was a bit light on the moves but wasn't bad overall. They were certainly in sync. It was fun to watch, and having 9 girls move without tripping over each other is a skill to be prized.

Yes, this MV was awesome, But don't take my word for it. Watch it and see for yourself!

Well I'm glad they didn't ask the reviewer cause Ponytail is the worst song on the album. Kinda reminded me of Headphones from their last album and I didn't care for that song neither. I think it's the rockish sound they have to them. Now don't get me wrong the songs are still definitely listenable. I would've liked for them to make a mv for Jelly Jelly. I love that song!! That one and One in a Million. The rest of the song so left on the album are great as well!! I thought the album was very successful and the mv was ok.

That was the song I was gonna suggest you listen to. That song gives thieves shoujo anime opening vibe. Lol But Some Love is another good song on that album as well.
