Former 4minute member Jiyoon showed off a whole different side to her for a recent 'International bnt' pictorial, going for a sexily sultry yet classy look that is appropriate for her age.

Jiyoon recalled her debut days in 4minute for the interview portion of the pictorial, revealing why she always wore a pair of shades like her life depended on it and if she knew how to rap at all. She said, "In the very beginning of [4minute's] debut, I wore shades to maintain an air of mystery. I never took them off even in the waiting room so the fellow idols were curious about how I really looked. Because of the peculiar way I presented myself, there were many people who believed I was a rapper. I was actually a vocalist. I learned how to rap for the first time for 'Unpretty Rapstar 2.'"

Jiyoon then went on to admit, "I knew that people would say negative things about me because I didn't know how to rap. I wanted to hide in a hole when I first started. It was hard enough just practicing but because we had to complete missions in just hours, I didn't even have the time to feel regretful [about my decision]. And because I joined right in the middle of the season, everyone was already close so I stuck out like a sore thumb. My rap verse 'Imma just do me' became the topic of much ridicule, and I was embarrassed because comedian Kim Ki Ri kept making fun of me for it but now I'm thankful because it turned into a sort of catch phrase. If I got the chance to appear on the show again, I will show everyone a better me."
