Shortly after the news that KBS banned Black Pink's "BOOMBAYAH" due to its lyrics, YG Entertainment revealed the agency was already on the case to get the song approved.

YG Entertainment told media on August 17 that the lyrics for "BOOMBAYAH" have been revised and re-submitted for approval, and the agency is currently negotiating a lift on the ban with KBS. YGE stated the song was rejected due to references to an alcohol brand as well as the lyric, "Middle finger up F."

Black Pink is the first girl group to debut from the agency in 7 years following 2NE1. Have you been listening to "BOOMBAYAH" and "Whistle"?

This is so unlikely of what YG would doing. I mean, i never heard YG send the national broadcasting company a revised lyric of their artist before. Oh wow. I feel good when YG is actually dropping his elitism.
