G-Friend's Yerin explained on 'Lee Kuk Ju's Young Street' the other day why she chose to be a singer.

A listener who dreams of becoming a singer phoned and said, "It's honestly true that I should pick a secure job, realistically speaking," and Eunha admitted, "Being a singer is not an easy job.  It's hard since debut.  Life as a trainee is hard, too, and the parents worry a lot."

However, Yerin offered a different perspective with, "This was why I chose to be a singer, whether I could enjoy my job even twenty or thirty years from now.  The job is not important if it doesn't make me happy."

if you can't work happily it's not practical to do that job anyway.

I agree that you should pursue your dreams but you also have to be realistic about your chances. If you're not exceptionally talented or good looking, you most likely will not receive either fame or fortune from your career. If you're okay with that and think you'll be okay with that 5, 10 and 20 years down the line, that's great; go for it.

It's true that your job should make you happy, although practicality should be a large factor xD
