The 14-year-old idol star and youngest of April commented on her withdrawal on the August 2nd episode of JTBC's 'Girl Spirit'. On the show, Jinsol revealed she withdrew from middle school and recently passed the qualification exam to move onto high school. She's currently preparing for the high school qualification exam as well.

Jinsol expressed, "My mother and I thought about withdrawal for a month. I may not be attending school, but I'm still working hard studying and practicing. I want to work even harder and succeed." She added, "I heard that you memorize things faster if you explain it to someone."

Good luck to Jinsol!

Jinsol is focused on what she wants and its a path she chose. I give props to her for always doing her best in everything. Its not about not studying... she has said before she studies everyday with tutors. Homeschooling is not easier. But she chose to do focus on her dream instead of having a school experience. Most people dont want to let go of their comfort zone. That shows that she is very goal oriented, and I truly wish her the best. Jinsol FIGHTING! Shine like a bright star!!!

It was brave from her. It is not easy to study at home but she managed to do it in order to follow her dream.

Jeez, the title makes it seem like she didn't even finish 9th grade when in reality she tested out of it and is studying by herself to get her high school certification. I have a few friends who did that, and there's nothing wrong with it.

this article is a bit misleading. withdrawing isn't the same as dropping out guys, chill. there's an exam you need to pass in order to graduate from middle school, or basically be done with it. and jinsol already passed it. so now, she's focusing on trying to get her high school diploma - which in korea is basically just passing the test for moving onto college by homeschooling and in the future, possibly, going to an arts school.

So whats the big deal here she tested out of middle school correct?  No point in going if you know it.  Hell i had a 14 year old in my classes  who had all ready tested out of HS.

Jinsol is 14, how could she be finishing high school? Plus, Jungkook is one year behind, and their companies pay so they can graduate anyway.

This is so dumb especially since her group isn't one of the biggest.

You are missing the point. She is still studying, they have tutors for her. The difference is that she will miss out on the school experience

The article said that she is practicing hard for her high school qualification exam. How else would she pass that if she didnt study. But I did hear that all of the girls have a tutor but one of the main reason Jinsol made the choice to leave that middle school is cause it is not in Seoul. Which was not mentioned in the interview Whereas she would enter high school at SOPA, which is Yena, Naeun, and Hyunjoo's school

Did you ready what she said! She said she's still working hard and is moving onto high school... maybe you're uneducated that you can't read. It's her dream and future leave her alone!

She's already passed the exam for high school, she's taking a month off classes at the end of the term to focus on work, but is still doing the studying required. She hasn't given up on school at all.

...are you an idiot? there is NOT an age set for anything. i know people who have married in their 80's and 90's. heck, theres a person who gave birth in her 70's. (correct me if im wrong) so i am SURE that she will be able to study later on. even you yourself mentioned in the comments above that "you unnies in GG" have RETURNED to studys. this indicates that the members for withdrew from their education to finish it later. so jisol can and probably will go back to her education.

Ever heard of homescholing? Withdrawing means she will pursue her education in a different environment, probably by tutors of her company, be it everyday, or just part-time. She already did the high school entrance tests, so she is eligble to continue her schooling .
