KARA's Youngji had her first ever solo fanmeeting in Japan!

'Nice to See U' was her first time meeting her Japanese fans for the first time since the other members of KARA left DSP Media. She was greeted by a theater full of fans. As she'd MCed for the April girls when they had their fanmeet in Japan, the April girls came to help her as well. She performed their "Tinkerbell" with them, as well as KARA's "Go Go Summer", "Honey", and "Jet Coaster Love".

Check out photos from her fanmeeting below!

Another misleading title. Those people are there for the April girls.

I remember how many the negative has received YoungJi two years ago. Says that she has no talent, isn't able to sing and dance that she has a bad look, cries at the slightest pretext. And in general the worst of participants children's Kara. What she has received because of DSP jugglings. Or silly Japanese admirers. And then there was a debut with Mamma Mia. Roommate. Other various shows. Clip Vixx "Error". Hitmaker. It has suddenly turned out that YoungJi became the brightest and it is lovely the participant Kara. And precisely the most popular. The fact that she perfectly dances and well sings. Besides, it is constantly improved in skills. Perfectly gets on with any people. Besides, it is charming directly in life. YoungJi has opened a second wind for Kara. She have reanimated her. Whether it was possible to make it, without having talent? I don't think that so. It is a pity that it lasted only one and a half years. But it is not a problem of YoungJi. She couldn't force other participants to remain in group. Other girls just were tired in eight years of performances. I hope, DSP will be to choose the correct way for YoungJi. Now they position her as actresses of a variety show and a series. But she says that she will return to career of the singer sooner or later. Solo or in group. We will wait.

Hitmaker.

I've become such a huge fan after following her through Roommate and Hitmaker.

*Apparently,* other past members of KARA4 were present here in JAPAN too; namely GYURI and SEUNGYEON ...

(Joking) Actually that 'Camera Hog' FAN in the PURPLE SHIRT (left side) is in the AKP photo (above) and this one. So, it must be true that GYURI and SEUNGYEON were present in JAPAN too ... ;-)

I see some comments about DSP Agency NOT doing well as an AGENCY. But, I would point out, that the members of KARA5 did pretty WELL overall FINANCIALLY, it would seem. And they did fulfill their contracts and leave in a manner that was NOT filled with animosity. Which, that can NOT always be said of other K-pop Groups, would be my observation on it. Having said that, why RAINBOW is *not* more successful; I am NOT sure on it. RAINBOW seems where EXID was *before* the 'HANI/FanCam' miracle took place. And *no* miracle in sight to save RAINBOW, seems to be the situation. JAEKYUNG is Age 28 pretty soon. NOT sure that JAEKYUNG wants to keep 'grinding' in K-pop. I guess that we will find out soon enough via contract renewals or not.

*CORRECTION* ... GYURI and SEUNGYEON (KARA4) did send a VIDEO MESSAGE to YOUNGJI for this JAPAN fan gathering. Just trying to 'get it' correct. So, GYURI and SEUNGYEON were NOT physically present at this JAPAN fan meeting.

I don't understand too, all this negative to DSP. At least with YoungJi, DSP did the work for 120%. DSP is often accused that they give not enough promotion for other groups (Rainbow and A-Jax). But promotion costs a lot of money. And if the group in itself doesn't bring in the good income from where to take funds for promotion? If only to use for this purpose the income of Kara. But it doesn't make sense. Though other agencies do similar, and then some actors have legal proceedings with agencies as their income has gone for support and promotion of other groups. Now the income for DSP can generate only YoungJi and likely April. DSP also advances them for 100% as far as can, in the conditions of limited financial opportunities. There is a wish to wish DSP of success in it. Especially with YoungJi.

I would say of DSP AGENCY that they need to find a YOUNGER MALE GROUP to replace their "CLICK B" Group. Having NO MALE Group to appeal to FANGIRLS is NOT a good situation for DSP AGENCY. But, I agree that DSP AGENCY seems to get *more* criticism than they deserve it. KARA was a *successful* Group ; RAINBOW is still going at least. That is MORE than a LOT of AGENCIES do accomplish it. Could DSP AGENCY do better? Probably in some ways. But DSP AGENCY is *not* a 'big failure' somehow, as I see it.

I'm glad she has fans and quite a bunch of them. DSP. Get your shit together and start promoting her. Not as KARA but as Youngji so she can build her own brand. I don't know if she's ready for a full on solo quite yet, but she could be doing collabs with other artists, more commercial work, be on variety (Cause she was growing in popularity back in 2014 before that stagnated) & more dramas. I just really don't want to see another DSP artist go to waste.
