'Hit the Stage,' Mnet's newest dance survival program featuring your favorite idols, aired its first themed episode on July 27.

The theme on this broadcast was 'devils,' and the competing idols, including Hyoyeon, Taemin, Bora, Hoya, U-Kwon, Shownu, Momo, and TEN, all showcased a chillingly intense performance.

U-Kwon's stage in particular drew much awe and praise from the audience members for the creative choreography and a dark yet mesmerizing energy. The idol had transformed into the psychotic villain Joker, 'killing' everyone in sight with his, well, killer moves.

Bora and Momo put on sexy performances as seductive enchantresses, and TEN was reborn as the devil himself, seemingly possessed in the way he contorted his joints.

Though every stage contained charms of its own, it was U-Kwon's Joker performance that ultimately won a majority of the votes! U-Kwon earned a total of 158 points, surpassing TEN and taking first place for the show's very first performance.

You can take a look at the available performances for yourself below.

Bora's performance - I was distracted by the fact that the other dancer was better than her. Momo's performance - I liked the concept but it needed some fine tuning.

For me Ten did an amazing job.His stage had both the dance and the acting and the dancers weren't outshining him yet were sync with him . Bora's choreo was really good maybe if she used like 2 more back up dancers the stage would've looked fuller and she looked more like the centered person . Momo's stage is my favorite performance, her expression ,moves and the story were on point but dance wise I think Ten and bora are higher than her in this . she seems nervous I hope she shake it off in the other performances . U-Kwon's acting was the best, whole other level, but I felt like he acted more than dancing . For me Ten is the winner, but they all had creative stages so the winner loser thing is not that important.

the professional dancers aren't back up dancer. The idols and the professional dancers pair up and form team. What Ukwon did was letting BB Trippin. his teammates shine as well. He also shines because he was the main dancer/focus of the dance. The winner is both Ukwon and BB Trippin because out of all of the teams, they had the best stage presence and team work, represented the devil theme, and carried out a story,

Plus, their moves seem simple but they were in sync, smooth, fluid and on beats. As for Ten, he danced more and did crazy moves. In my opinion, his moves were faster and rougher. However, he made a lot of unnecessary moves and his intro dance didn't do song any justice. He did showcase his individual dancing skill, but his story lost half way through. And his teammate didn't not shine at all and they were lost in the background. When I was watching. my eyes were on him but not his teammates. This is a team competition not individuals. Therefore, I think this is why I thought Ukwon's team was better.
