Seungyeon and Han Ye Ri appeared on JTBC's 'Abnormal Summit' on July 25!

Han Ye Ri said, "I visited France.  It's a really nice memory.  But it was a bit dirty." Seungyeon added bluntly and brutally, "I went to the United States and France.  I heard that France has good food, but only the bread was good.  Also, among the bread, the soft bread was good while tough bread was hard to eat," which the French representative on the show nodded in acknowledgment while hiding the pain inside.

Still, everyone would want to visit France!  Who doesn't love good bread?

I can agree that it's dirty. But it's not really true that just the bread is good, it's just that he didn't like it

well, that is her honest opinion...dont hate her...but if i want to be honest, i will also say that korean food is not good as it shown on tv, just a few of them is delicious....i went to korean almost 10 times and i also find korea is dirty than my country.....and japan is like a heaven if i want to compare it from korea but not japanese food because it so plain and not my taste...i went to malaysia and singapore and i find their food was really delicious and their country is more clean than korea especially singapore.... but it's not a reason to say it to public like she did because she is a public figure and she need to be more cautious.

Where do you live? I went to Korea once (both Busan & Seoul) and I think it is more clean there than Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur). Based on the big cities. But I've spoke with a Korean guy before and he think Malaysia is more clean than Korea. Lol. He said I haven't seen his back yard or the area he's living coz it's really filthy there. But yeah, I've heard a lot of people prefer Japan more than Korea. Anyway, not going to deny on the foods ofc. Both Korea and Japan foods are too plain for me as well. But some will said Malaysia or Singapore food too oily/greasy, too spicy or unhealthy for them, but well that's what makes it savory & rich in flavors :p

Ah well, thanks for your compliment on Singapore, proud Singaporean here ^^ Japan is definitely one of the cleanest country in the world though, been there before and it was really clean everywhere! Korea is quite alright too imo

that program is still going? pfff...... i still can't comprehend how a show that is entirely constructed around the idea of presenting subjective generalizations as fact can be successful.

Sorry for them, but both statements seem pretty shallow, to be gentle.

If she's talking about Paris then yeah, it's a bit dirty... It's not dirty because people throw things in the streets or on the floor but because streets or the subways are kind of old and poorly maintained.. It's like every big cities with a large population.

I am probably chauvinistic but every time someone gives an opinion on my country that they visited I always get a bit pissed off. Every country has something beautiful to offer but the only thing people find worth mentionning are always the really small things that irked them like the bread...?

Agreed. Totalement d'accord. I can guarantee you that Paris is nowhere near as dirty as certain places in NYC where I currently reside, trust and believe. And at least, I'm Paris people don't spit everywhere as though it was absolutely normal like they often would in Seoul — no disrespect.

Don't have to bring down Korea just because you didn't like what she said about France. you sound childish..and honestly, Korea is a very clean country

🙄🤔 I am positive it is a common fact, no one's Ben gong anyone down. Looks to me like you simply enjoy taking the piss over nothing. You are as likely to bump into a group of drunken mess, or to see numerous people spit absolutely everywhere in Seoul as you are to bump into intellectually elitist and rude people in Paris. Don't cry yourself to sleep over this baby doll.

i think it's all bullshit.. there are plenty of clean and well maintained areas in Paris, and in the countryside there's also dirty places.... saying an entire city gives off a dirty impression is just... well... it's a personal experience. And to be honest, if folks can't find good quality food from any part of the world in Paris (or any cosmopolitan city for that matter), folks probably have no idea what they're looking for, because it's really not that hard. And I've only been to Paris 3 times in my entire life.
