Though the idol only confessed to rhinoplasty, netizens are skeptical that her nose is the only area on her face that Jung Chae Yeon tweaked. A majority of people speculate that Chae Yeon also got her eyes done despite her claims that her lids formed naturally. 

Under a post titled 'Why did Jung Chae Yeon lie that she didn't get her eyes done?' a netizen ranted, "Honestly, why did Jung Chae Yeon lie about getting her eyes done? Did she think that just because she admitted to getting her nose done, she can just cover up her eyelid surgery? She said her eyelids formed during middle school? But her middle school pictures tell a different tale. She said she only 'got her nose done.' Let's say your eyes swell up when you get your nose done. But for eyelids that formed naturally, the swelling looks too plastic-y? lolololol. And when I see her bare face on an HD screen and the highest definition on YouTube, you can see marks that look like suture stitches. She said herself that she got her nose and that [her eyes] formed naturally in middle school. Why did she lie about getting eyelid surgery? lolololololol Did she think that we wouldn't notice because it was done naturally? Ms. Chae Yeon, did you really not get eye surgery?" 

It appears most netizens agree with this speculation, as the top comments read, "I guess she was afraid to say that she got both done," "If she had just coolly admitted to getting her eyes and nose done, then people might have regarded her more positively," "Y'all are just realizing that she got it done?" "I'm feeling embarrassed..." and more. 

However, there were others who came to Chae Yeon's defense, writing, "But I've occasionally seen natural lids like that," "Why can't you all believe her when she says she didn't get her eyes done. What's the point in going this far haha. You don't gain anything from it. It's not even your face~" and, "Why don't you go study, you prepubescent bitches;;; and stop with your lambasting."

A netizen who claimed to be Chae Yeon's school friend uploaded an old picture of the idol under a post titled 'I'm Jung Chae Yeon's school friend and I'm sharing this photo because I feel frustrated.' This 'friend' wrote, "Yes, she really only got her nose done, people. She got it done during the first year of high school and she never pretended that her nose was natural. Her nose job influences the way she looks now but she also looks really different because of her strict diet. Please refrain from uploading posts without any proofs."
