Considering that there was only 1 pro in the group (arguably 2) and most of them had NO musical training at all, it was pretty good. I liked it and liked it even more because of the story in the show.

It's not the last if they were invited for the end of the year festival. You never know.

It was allowed on Music Bank, only cos Unni's Slam Dunk is a KBS show hence its allowed on a similar TV station programme. The other music shows like MBC's Music Core and SBS Inkigayo wont invite them as the group indirectly promotes another TV station variety show. Which is why IOI was not allowed on SBS and MBC also, due to the relationship with Produce 101 the show.

The Unnies / Sister Slam Dunk / KBS hit a jackpot on this project. They should be thankfull to JYP indeed. Hit Melon chart roof for hours and stays at no.1 until now.

I think the budget is more but for broadcast fun they made it a 10 dollar song. In JYP's appearance contract they probably included his cut for the song royalties, just like when he did Infinite Challenge with Yoo Jae Suk.

The budget is not $10, the song's fee was $10, they have a separate budget for MV and costumes, but it was indeed low budget because the cameras and crew are "free" as in from the variety show, the members could afford their OWN clothes, and the MV mainly used their own cast and also friendly inclusion of Park Jin Young and Yoo Hui Yeol was are both good friends and agreed to help out, hence it was free.

Nah, He's a businessman. They must have agreed to something off the show as well. Plus it wasn't only JYP's song, it was another producer's as well. He can't really sell the song for 10 bucks only. The unnies might pay 10 bucks fee on broadcast for fun variety but KBS probably paid him more for royalties and producing fees off camera. He is JYP and the other producer is the producer for Gangnam Style.

I think JYP predicted it. He did brag about how him and the other PD have only collaborated on hit songs and was proud enough to say this song could be a big hit. The unnies has the backup of being variety show in KBS. It ought to be a hit, which is particularly why I think JYP wants to do it. He knows it would garner attention. Plus, like Conan and Infinity Challenge, JYP gives zero production cost but maximal profit as the producer. Not a bad decision at all and the good thing is he also gives quality as a trade.

The fact that the song is in his possession, might mean he bought it from the other guy after it was created, like i said, due to lack of info, we can be arguing all we like based on assumptions and neither of us will be convinced.

I think he didnt know because the song was made 5 years ago, if he had an idea how to use it, he would have already used it for his own team, be it for miss A or TWICE etc. However as he said, he found the song too "strong" for a girl group to use, asking the other person to SHUT UP. I think he think it fit them as Jessi was in it, and other girl crush members like Kim Sook and Mi Ran are also in it, if its made up of Tiffany, Min Hyo Rin, the song may not have worked without the "fierce rapping" from Jessi, which was the highlight of the song i think, and Kim Sook/Mi Ran, the 2 oldest unni telling others to SHUT UP, kind of suits the song more. I think JYP realised it could be a hit, when the Unni Slam Dunk was broadcast showing them rehearsing and people on the streets were gradually getting a hang of the song after 3-4 weeks of the show, even before the song was released, people are already famailar with parts of the song, like "Battery has died, ..etc" He realised the show has somehow marketed the song without even a MV or any marketing $$ put in.

He said on the show he did the song with the other PD while going for a drink. He didn't buy it. He had deleted his copy and the other PD still has it in his possession. He also said while the song was great but it was too strong for any girl groups which is why he didn't give it to anyone. He knows it can't be a hit with just anyone. When Unnies came in, he decided on that song and rearrange it for them. My point was not the song itself is expected to be a hit but the song+singers+situation is expected to be a hit. He knows with all those combination and circumstances there will be profit. He did say before in another show with YG that he puts money on where the profit are.
