Kim Jong Kook validated his status as a singer on the July 24 episode of 'Fantastic Duo'....and revealed his rippling eight pack. 

The MCs and the other guests were relentless in their teasing of Kim Jong Kook, joking that many people have forgotten that he is actually a singer. Park Myung Soo wisecracked, "Younger people think that you are some guy who does fitness." 

MC Jun Hyun Moo tried to compare Kim Jong Kook's popularity in China to that of Song Joong Ki, asking him, "Your popularity in China is tremendous. Are you as popular as Song Joong Ki? How about Kim Soo Hyun?" However, Kim Jong Kook shut the MC down right away, shaking his head vigorously and replying in an embarrassed tone, "Stop it." 

Seo Jang Hoon joked, "From what I understand, more people know about Kim Jong Kook than Song Joong Ki. They even call him 'Kim Joong Kook ('Joong Kook' is 'China' in Korean).'"

At the insistence of the MCs and the guests, Kim Jong Kook was nearly forced to expose his eight pack to the audience. Kim Jong Kook, looking bashful and reluctant, lifted his shirt for a split second before he quickly hid his washboard eight pack abs again. But the split second was enough to make everyone's jaws drop, particularly the jaws of all the women.
