Netizens are wondering if YG Entertainment really aimed for this cool new discovery behind iKON and Black Pink's logos.

iKON's logo, since debut, simply consists of lines that spell their group name. As for YG's new girl group Black Pink, their new logo is similar to a yin and yang sign, circular with a curvy line in the middle. These logos might just seem simple and minimalistic on their own; however, there may be a meaningful message behind them.

According to some speculation, iKON and Black Pink's logos may have actually been derived from the Korean flag! Reportedly, the logos portray YG CEO Yang Hyun Suk's desire to create two of Korea's representative groups.

What an incredible hidden meaning!

It wasn't speculation for iKON's logo. They were under fire for copying a brand's logo. YG later cleared up the misunderstanding by revealing the creative process and explaining that the inspiration was from the Korean flag.
