@beansss(author): fyi, Stephanie Sun is not a Taiwanese but Singaporean. It's definitely an honor for Roy to remake a classic from Stephanie.

May I know, is that Mandarin or Cantonese or other dialect?

    shallsaur Bella_Strand Wednesday, June 29, 2016

Some parts of the song is in Hokkien, while most of it is in Chinese. I guess that is one unique thing about Singaporean producers. Since most Singaporean are Bilingual or more.

I see... because 1 of our satellite staff is from Singapore and she said she mainly speaks Cantonese. Btw, by Chinese, u mean Mandarin right? The major language?

    shallsaur Bella_Strand Wednesday, June 29, 2016

Hi, yes. Well, we typically refer Mandarin Chinese as just Chinese in Singapore. I'm not sure about Stephanie's dialect group but most of her songs are in Chinese, which afew English songs too.
