Previously, IOI's manager was the target of a lot of anger after he seemingly mistreated the girls by yelling at them, specifically Yoo Yeon Jung, in a mean and rude way.

Finally, YMC Entertainment responded to the controversy with a rep stating on May 11, "We saw the video that became a controversy recently. �The manager in question has been removed from his work and is currently given a desk job. �We feel apologetic towards IOI's fans, and we will be careful so that something unsavory like this will not happen again."

Some people are of the mind that the manager was just doing his job because he's responsible for getting the girls to their schedules on time. �However, YMC stated, "Firstly, yelling at the IOI members is the manager's fault, no matter what. �It was an incident that occurred suddenly depending on the burden and responsibility he felt. Normally, the managers are affectionate toward the IOI members, taking care of them like family. �This the IOI members know well, too. �That's why the IOI members feel that this is a shame. However, from the point of view of those operating the management, it seemed most reasonable to change the manager's position, so that was done immediately."
