Seventeen's performance team names being registered under copyright was only for media play?

Seventeen's performance team members are talented choreographers, having taken part in creating the choreography for many of their songs including "Mansae", "Adore U", and their most recent title track "Pretty U".

However, fans recently noticed that the performance team members' names, which used to be registered under the choreographer's copyright organization for several of their songs, have been taken away.

According to fans' reports, Seventeen's "Mansae" and "Adore U", which used to be jointly registered under Seventeen's choreographer Choi Young Joon and member Hoshi (real name Kwon Soon Young), have now been switched over to individual creation. Seventeen's "Pretty U" only recently became registered under Choi Young Joon and Hoshi this May, while overall, only 5 songs are registered under Seventeen's name, including "Chuck", "Still Lonely", and songs for which Hoshi created the choreography for before debut.

A Korean Carat, who phoned the choreographer's copyright organization regarding the matter, discovered that the changes were made by none other than Pledis Entertainment over several emails.

As of now, Carat are demanding an explanation from the label. Do you think Pledis Entertainment really meant to add the Seventeen members' names under the copyright registration briefly for media play?
