'Let's Go Dream Team' MC Lee Chang Myung has been edited out almost entirely after his DUI and hit-and-run.

On April 20th, he was driving a Porche when it slid in the rain and hit a telephone pole. Afterward, instead of staying to take care of the accident, he left the matters to a friend and left, making it a hit-and-run. After, he had denied that he was drunk driving. However, investigations showed his blood alcohol level at 0.16%, showing that he was indeed driving while intoxicated.

The 'Let's Go Dream Team' editing team had confirmed that the MC of the show would be edited out as much as possible, even his voice. As he is the main MC, it was impossible to cut him out entirely, but he had no single shot to himself, and even his voice appeared only when explaining the game.

Well he's the best MC for Dream Team honestly. Other shows... Not so good.

Drunk driving is really something to be charged for but what happens do Dream Team now ? I mean I can't imagine it without his "chulballllll" or his voice in general xD Maybe Boom could replace him ? idk

Yeah, his voice makes the show more fun to watch. It's like Jim Ross in the WWE.

Those who drink and drive no matter what country should be charged with attempted murder. You can't only kill you but others and their children. And this fool had a hit and run? Like you really need to be locked up. That's some disgusting shit. If only it was possible to hurt and harm yourself only and not those around you when you decided to make this dumb decision.

He'll probably go on hiatus. But can someone tell me what the point of that is. Once someone comes back from a scandal. Everyone is going to be reminded of it by there presence. Like there was a guy on Hello Counselor who took 10 years off. But once they brought him as a guest they kept making jokes about his scandal.

It's kind of like you messed up, so take some time off and think about what you did. Korea doesn't want kids to think it's okay to commit a crime without being punished. So these guys being celebrities, being out of the public eye is their punishment aside from the legal matters.

Wow, this is so disappointing... I'm glad he didn't hit anybody but this is a mess. Dream Team used to be my absolute favorite show for years. He's ruined everything with this stunt. Ugh.

Since he was shown to be indeed intoxicated despite coming in to turn himself in after 20 hours. it shows that he not only DUI but also tried to cover it up by leaving the scene, which makes it more serious as it shows that after the accident happened he did not show sign of owning up for his action but had taken steps to cover up, like asking his friend to "clean up" the scene. i think netizens are not going to go lightly on him this time and he may be in broadcast hiatus for longer. given his age, he might even retire from job, since it will be years before he can make a return.

Yeah, he's actually been doing it since the show began I think? Season 1 aired 1999-2003 and then the reboot started in 2009... 10~ years. @.@
