In a recent interview with 'International bnt,' the strong and talented rapper and vocalist Jessi talked about many different topics!

She relayed how her strong image came from her family.  Starting at 15 years old, she lived apart from her parents and was raised by her two older brothers, which influenced her personality.  "I feel very sorry toward my parents but I did not want to show a weak image, so even when I was having a hard time, I never showed it," she revealed.

Regarding the loneliness that could result from a life like that, she said, "I'm not the type to drink often.  If I had to do something, shopping would be the method, but even that only lasts a moment, so it can't solve loneliness.  It has been well over one year since I've dated.  I don't even have time to meet a man, to be honest.  It's so sad."

Regarding her image, which is full of confidence so that even elders would recognize her on the streets, Jessi said, "I feel so proud because I feel like I am creating a different culture in this generation in which women are becoming stronger and can put out their voices," bringing up how TV has changed over time.

She lastly revealed that she would be releasing her own album no matter what this year, so look forward to it!

its kinda sad after reading this article that she kept her weak image to herself so no one would worry and that reading the article about her crying at real men and the comments people posted there, didin't realize that she is having a tough time and is really sweet and kind

yeah its the girls acting like bitches culture.  its sad people look up to that behavior these days which basically promotes bullying.  its funny how hypocritical people are who hate bullies so much but then look up to Jessi, who basically bullied everyone on UR.  call it attitude or being strong, in reality is acting like a bitch and being a bully.

You may be misjudging "bitchiness" for confidence. UR WAS a competition and she DID have much more experience than the others. You also have to remember that UR is heavily edited to show what the PD thinks will be the most entertaining/ controversial. I'll admit that Jesse can be annoying at times, but I think that it's due to cultural differences. She'd be perfectly fine in the U.S.

i think you're mistaking bitchy for confidence. there were many confident females WAY before hip hop came about. there were confident females before the diva/bitchy fad for female empowerment became a thing. now all of a sudden every girl has to have a attitude to be a strong female. thats mistaking confidence for being a bitch. most girls into the fads these days are confused.

it really comes down to being influenced from popular culture, which a lot of girls are these days. they see minaj snapping her fingers and moving her head talking trash and think thats a strong female. they see diva's like mariah who act entitled and think its so cool. none of that is female empowerment. its setting up defensive mechanisms to protect yourself by being aggressively intimidating. its just so obvious it all came from lousy role models young girls now emulate.

idk jessi personally but bashing about her behind your computer means that you also don't know her either. Unpretty rapstar is a show and whatever content that show can get they will get. Jessi has said in numerous interviews that she may be tough on the outside but soft on the inside. it looks like she is nice to people in her own way and she isn't a bully.

so where am i wrong? because having attitude and acting like a bitch is empowerment, right? only you low IQ females of today think that, who were raised on bratty ass diva's like mariah and whitney.

its even worse when u look up to Jessi and CL as role models. they'd be some of the biggest try hards in American circles.
